Our Purple Moon is truly one-of-a-kind and often described as the “perfect wine and cheese pair.” To create this unique cheese, we take our Traditional Cheddar and soak it in locally produced California red wine. The outer layer of our creamy white cheddar turns to a deep purple. The essence of this cheese is simply enchanting; Purple Moon has the aroma of sweet red wine, and fruity undertones can be tasted in each bite. This semi-hard cheese is made from pasteurized cow’s milk and hand cut into 1 pound or 6oz. pieces before soaking.

Vacuum-sealed package may be stored for up to five months.
Once opened, tightly wrap the remaining cheese and store in an airtight bag up to 30 days.
