Our Hopscotch is named after the “hops” present in the beer we use to create this unique and flavorful masterpiece. To give this cheese its one-of-a-kind taste we pair our Traditional Cheddar with a local Scotch Ale. During the cheese making process, we soak our cheddar curds in the savory brew which allows for the beer flavor to impart itself into the cheese. Our creamy white cheddar is highlighted by the dark beer, and a faint amber coloring can be seen throughout the cheese. This semi-hard cheese is made from pasteurized cow’s milk and handcrafted in to 40 pound blocks.
Our Hopscotch Cheddar has a bold, delicious flavor like none other. It has a smooth and creamy, rich finish and can stand alone, but is perfectly paired with any beer. This cheese is great for snacking and adds quite the kick to just about any dish. It melts wonderfully and has become a favorite on many pizzas; try with caramelized onions, bacon, and mushrooms. Use in a broccoli beer soup or melt to create a cheese fondue perfect for pretzel dipping.
Vacuum-sealed package may be stored for up to one year.
Once opened, tightly wrap the remaining cheese and store in an airtight bag up to 30 days.
